Out of Network Billing & Insurance

I am not in-network with any insurance company. You may be eligible for reimbursement for our sessions if your plan has out-of-network benefits. If you do, I have partnered with Thrizer, a company that handles the entire out-of-network process, including submitting claims and getting you reimbursed - on your behalf. Reach out to me here if you’d like me to check your benefits!

You also have the option to bypass insurance entirely. This ensures that no information about your treatment is shared with any insurance company.

Frequently Asked Questions

Good Faith Estimate Notice

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost.

Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services, including psychotherapy services.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees, including psychotherapy services.

You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service. Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

While it is difficult to predict the exact number of sessions required for psychotherapy, a Good Faith Estimate will be provided to you before we begin our work together. This estimate will outline the cost per session and an anticipated frequency based on your specific goals.
